Trail # 179 – Snowballs of Fire!

Hares: Certified Underwater Naval Technician, P. Ennis and the
wonderful twosome of Hood Whorenament and O-69.

Visitor: Gluteus Maximus

The moonlight off of the Bowl America in December is spectacular to
see!  So was the return of two long time friends (and co-founders O-
69 and Hood), who came out despite the weather and family
responsibilities to lead this rag-tag group.  Thanks guys and it is
always great to see you!

So we gathered at the BA parking lot and weathered ourselves next to
Metro Ho for sign in and for new SH*T merchandise;  the stocking caps
are excellent and at $10 they're the "In" item for winter.

While pimping more gear I noticed the return of 3 Holes No Waiting,
Cockspur (who was not really a returner but it didn't stop me), Glory
Hole and the elegant 14K.  We also welcomed Gluteus Max from Taiwan,
who was home visiting family and decided to add some SH*T to her
life.

Certified promised a simple trail for the pre-holiday events and came
through with grace, as trail was fun, colorful and just a bit
chilly.  Hares were away on time, or as close as we normally get,
with all Hares going in the same direction.  We commenced with the
usual fare before taking off to the right and into the adjoining
neighborhood.

The walkers were graced by the usually fleet footed Rodeo F*ck, who
decided to take it easy for a change and be FRB for the walkers.  Our
trail was quick and enjoyable but we never went to Certified's house…
I really wanted to see her tree, and by tree I mean….!

We could tell that the holiday season was upon us by the kindness
expressed on trail by our lovely Hares (lovely does not include Hood
or P.Ennis), as they made sure to write, "Careful Ice" on the
walkway.  I am still not sure what constitutes careful ice.  The path
led us into the neighbor hood of lights and onto VA Dominion Powers'
favorite holiday street.

As done in years past, every house on the street was lit in festive
holiday lights and expansive decorations.  I'd try to describe it but
I can't so deal with it.  Like last year, we came to the house with
Santa in the garage and the kids pouring hot chocolate for the
passers by.  Our intuitive 3 Holes politely asked one of the little
ones serving chocolate what was the special occasion for the
refreshments.  The little ones are so cute when you ask them an
obvious question.

We wandered the street in awe, caught up to the runners and all
gathered in the parking lot for a frosty beer check beverage.
Reloaded and refueled we made our way back down the street and short
cutted back to the BA lot only to find the Sterling police and fire
department in full regalia in front of the establishment.

After waiting out the authorities we saluted out FRB – Glory, FBI –
Puke Me Up Buttercup and DFL – Udder Ho before saying goodbye to Hood
and O-69.  Certified promised that the hashit was near (she only
lives 4 blocks away) but that she had forgotten it.

I'm beginning to think I'll see my first born before I see that
hashit again!

Violations started with Pee Wee's Gay House and his brilliant
observation that the trail was A to A; he caught on to this when Hood
said that a bag vehicle was unnecessary since we'd be coming back.
Whack-A-Mole and Lube Me Up Scotty spent the walk time chatting about
work (uhhg), Porn to Fail, Dixie Queen and Glory were late (not girl
late), Pimpsicle was seen kicking a Coors light box – not sure what
that means, and Gluteus was attempting to get someone to follow in
the Taiwanese tradition of pissing on the Satan Clause decorations.

Since Watergate was in a hurry we rushed through other violations,
but not before Dixie warmed my heart with a personal/custom song made
just for me (Bob Newbanks eat your heart out).  Circle was completed
and a paid OnOnOn was set up in the bowling alley for one and all.
That's about the time that Bad Dog showed up and joined the crowd for
a glass of milk and some munchies.

A good trail, some good peeps and deep fried bowling alley grub.  Now
that's what I call Hashmus

On out
Udder Ho
